ABOUT

Howdy!

My name is KJ! I'm a late twentysomething that's been making original characters since I was old enough to pick up a pencil. My first true OC was Wendy, a little white cat girl that was based on a McDonald's teeny beanie baby toy of Flip the cat. I would dress her in kid barbie clothes and play with her and our other beanie babies with my childhood friend and would make comics on her escapades. Since then, I've constantly been making characters and stories. My terrible attention span leads me to shift focus on my characters often, but I love every single one!

This website will be a long, endless work in progress as I have many, MANY characters to upload, so check back for updates! Art featured here will mainly be mine, but I will also post others' art, and will be properly credited with links to their socials.

Many of my characters I like to interweave stories with friends! Many of my characters have set universes, but that doesn't stop me from making fun alternate narratives with pals! You're more than welcome to ask for OC interactions. I encourage it!

A lot of my stories have very dense lore, and a lot of it is cut for brevity's sake. If you ever want the full lore of any OC, feel free to ask!

Some of my characters have come and gone in the years since then, but one of the oldest set of characters I still work on are the main characters in Breckenridge!

Many of my characters shift and develop over time, including many of the fellas in Polarity Skies, most of which started out as closed species characters. Many have alternate universe iterations that I still use, but their main pages will have their original, intended universe.

I have many, many fancharacters from media I like. I also had a big OC/Canon stint for a while, because I think it's fun and cringe culture is dead.

I also used to have a webcomic about vampires that I no longer update, but I still love the characters dearly. I might reuse them for a project someday, but for now they'll remain semi-retired for now. Many OCs I have often "come out of retirement" so to speak.
