Rosella is a main character in Polarity Skies. She serves as the antagonist of the Whiskey Rose arc, but becomes an ally later on.

Appearance
Rosella is a canid furry, standing at 6’2”. Her hair is a stylized dark grey with green undertones, but can be drawn as black. Her fur is a light very pale pink-like color. Rosella’s eyes are a intense red, with visibly black pupils stylized more as “crazy eyes”. Her body type is muscular, with broad shoulders and defined arm muscles.
Her fashion sense is mostly casual punk, she often wears cargo-styled pants and tanktops, and will accessorize occasionally with bracelets. She often wears combat-style gloves. She is almost always wearing a black collar necklace. Her main colors are black, dark green, and red.
Personality
Rosella is brash, thick-headed, and loud, which leads people to believe she’s a cruel person, but she is just passionate and full of energy. Rosella’s love for violence started at a young age when she was taken in by the Thibodeaux clan, a group of criminals and demons that took her under their wing. She’s relentless, doesn’t like to use her words much and finds things like diplomacy boring, and believes every problem can be solved with a good fight.
Despite Rosella’s one-track way of thinking, she doesn’t fight anyone without reason. Many look up to her in the Thibodeaux clan and at her bar, the Whiskey Rose. Rosella protects those she cares about deeply and is more than willing to throw a punch, after all, when she’s not tending bar she’s often finishing rowdy fights in said bar and throwing people out. She acts as the bold big sister type to many of the younger members in the clan.
Rosella will say her love language is bullying, she teases and loves to push buttons, and she believes everyone should have a thicker skin. She’s loud and proud about her opinions and thoughts, and often doesn’t have much of a filter.
Rosella likes drinking, making drinks, sparring, fixing cars, sour candy, and stockcar racing. She hates most things related to Elysism and all things religious, cops or any kind of authoritarian state, and pastries.
Story
Rosella was born to a single mother named Desdemona, a woman who was down on her luck living in the slums of Cloud City. She was single, rebellious, and barely had the resources to raise her daughter. Then one day Desdemona met the Flower Children, a strange sub-sect of Elysism followers that took her in, promising her they’d give her the resources to raise her child. Rosella spent the first few years of her life in the Flower Children, unbeknownst to her or her mother that it was a shady cult, eventually Desdemona was taken in for a sacrifice — what that sacrifice was, Rosella never knew, but when she found out her mother was taken from her, she took her opportunity and ran away as much as she could. Somehow, she narrowly escaped and met the Thibodeaux clan, a group of demons and criminals that took her under their wing. The Thibodeaux clan is often contracted by the Hearth for mercenary services.
